About us
Groom Boom Pet Market & Salon is a neighborhood grooming salon on West Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. We groom dogs of every size and coat — and cats too — and keep a small shop of pet care products by the door.
Our goal is simple: your pet goes home clean, comfortable and looking great, and you know exactly what you paid for.
Every service is priced by weight and coat, and the full list is on our website.
If your pet needs extra time for matting, shedding or handling, we tell you before we start.
Nothing is charged online. You see your pet first, then pay at the salon.
Cat grooming is done by our dedicated cat groomer, one cat at a time.
Co-owner · Groomer · Cat specialist
Zamira has been grooming dogs and cats for 3 years. She runs Groom Boom together with Valeriia — both owners are groomers, so the people who own the salon are the ones caring for your pet.
Every cat that comes to the salon is in her hands. Big fluffy dogs are her other favorite — the bigger the coat, the happier she is.

Co-owner · Groomer
Valeriia has over 3 years of experience as a professional groomer. She is passionate about studying canine behavior and understanding how dogs feel and communicate.
Her approach focuses on low-stress, gentle grooming, creating a calm, safe, and positive experience for every dog.
She especially loves working with puppies, helping them build trust and feel comfortable with grooming from an early age. For Valeriia, grooming isn’t just about making dogs look beautiful — it’s about making sure they feel safe, understood, and cared for throughout the process.
